Looking for a great night out on the town?

Looking for a great night out on the town?
One of my great enjoyments when I travel back to New York is going up Arthur ave in the Bronx.

One of the way to go there from Manhattan is take the 4 train to the Yankees stadium and stopping at the Yankee Tavern for refreshments on 161st. Then catch a cab from there up to the restaurants on Arthur Ave. your cabbie should know how to get there for a great Italian meal.

To get back into Manhattan, the restaurant can provide you with car service to the local subways and from there you can ride back into the city.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went back to NYC this Memorial Day Weekend, 2012.  We really had a great time. We got to visit Teddy Roosevelt's birthplace on 20th St. offof 5th Avenue in Manhattan.  Two days later we visited his home in Oyster Bay on Long Island.  We were able to get there by the Long Island Railroad.  We saw the play, Memphis.
