It's been a while since I posted. We just visited NYC over the Memorial Day Weekend. I had a great time. One of the only hitches we had was when I decided to take our luggage on the E train (the subway). I just got off the red-eye from CA and we were pretty tired. Lugging the luggage wasn't easy.
The rest of the trip went well. We visited Yankee Stadium for lunch at the Hardrock Cafe. There was no game as the Yanks were away. We were down at South Ferry viewing the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. That night we saw the Broadway revival "Anything Goes." It was great. Times Square was in all its glory. A far cry from what it was 25-30 years ago. We also visited the Tenement Museum on 97 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side. Take the F train to 2nd Avenue and head towards Katz's deli (which is also a great place).
On Sunday we visited the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church. You can take the F train to the Jay Street station and exit on the Fulton Street side. The Church has a very interesting history and a great service.
NYC still attracts many tourists and rightfully so. There isn't any city like here in The US of A.
