The Ride
After waking up after arriving from my red-eye flight to NY city we started our afternoon. My sister and I went on a tour bus called The Ride, which is really a neat way of viewing specific parts of the city. From this video, you can see individuals interacting with staged people on the street.
Check out a short video of our experience here:

Columbus Circle
Sunday, my sister cousin and I walked around the city where there were many street fairs. After walking around for awhile, we went to Columbus circle and ate at a restaurant called Robert. We had a great meal and had a great time.
North Riverside Cathedral
Down the block, we visited the north Riverside Cathedral and a national park where Ulysses S. Grant and his wife are buried.
After that, we went to eat at Elimia's restaurant on Arthur Ave. in the Little Italy section of the South Bronx. We ate outside and had a view of the surrounding area.
Columbia University
We took the subway up to Columbia University which I have never visited. The campus was really beautiful and it was also the weekend that students were arriving at the campus.

Looking for a great night out on the town?
Looking for a great night out on the town?
One of my great enjoyments when I travel back to New York is going up Arthur ave in the Bronx.
To get back into Manhattan, the restaurant can provide you with car service to the local subways and from there you can ride back into the city.
