I also had a great meal at Forlini's, the only Italian restaurant left in China Town. Located on 93 Baxter Street right off of Canal Street. It is often frequented by judges and prosecutors. Their website is: http://forlinisnyc.com/

Memorial Day Weekend

We went back to NYC this Memorial Day Weekend, 2012.  We really had a great time. We got to visit Teddy Roosevelt's birthplace on 20th St. offof 5th Avenue in Manhattan.  Two days later we visited his home in Oyster Bay on Long Island.  We were able to get there by the Long Island Railroad.  We saw the play, Memphis.

Bryant Park

One of my favorite places to visit in NYC is Bryant Park.  It's located between Fifth Ave.and Avenue of the Americas on 42nd St.  During the winter time there's a skating rink and kiosks for shopping.  During the summer time, the park is filled with a vibrancy that won't quit.  There are concerts, a mini library area where you can read books and magazines that are on display.  Or you can just lay or sit on the great lawn and just relax.  There is also miniature golf, chess
and bocci ball games going on.

"The Brooklyn Bridge"

One of the highlights of a visit to NYC is walking the Brooklyn Bridge.  To visit it, take the 6 Train southbound to the last stop (Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall).
As you can see it's beautiful.  This bridge was constructed in 1875.
